The Enchantment domain has the ability to not only affect the minds of others but also the minds of monsters, and animals. They can either influence (charm) their targets to their will or control (compulsion) their target’s behavior by forcing them into action. Enchanters also have the power to animate objects to do their bidding for them. Because of the close similarity they share to Illusion, the original families were very close to one another. Enchanters have a variety of personalities within them – some use the power for good deeds, while others have been known to manipulate it to their benefit. A person might find themselves in this domain because of their desire for control in a world of chaos. They have an unquenchable need that stretches far beyond their own abilities, yet they will do whatever it takes to reach their goals. The Ancient of Enchantment, the Enchantress, is the wife of the Creator and mother of the sisters of light and dark. She was created out of love and encompasses all things that are beautiful in the world.
