Taylor Sullivan and Logan Kilmartin, two of the last surviving members of the Order of Arcane Protectors, both survived the war in Sunset Glades, FL. After meeting up a few times to help one another out with hunts, they came to the decision to start up a new faction of hunters that would help battle against the Shadowkind. With the Arcanists either dead or missing, and certainly powerless, they knew that they alone wouldn’t be able to fight against the Shadowkind themselves. Both of them opened up training places, a dojo and a gym, where they would seek out people who had it in them to become the hunters of the new age. With the Shadowkind only growing stronger as time grew on, they needed to find new people to fight by their side.
Eldritch Hunters have been trained by Taylor or Logan, and have been chosen based on their skills and determination. All members bring unique characteristics to the hunt, and the bond that’s growing between them all only grows stronger as they fight against the Shadowkind, united. They bear no marking on their skin, though they have carried over the use of magical artifacts to aid them in battle, if either Taylor or Logan has deemed them worthy of bearing. With the items being so rare, they aren’t trusted in the hands of fresh hunters.
As of April 10, 2010, Taylor leads the Order by herself. Logan Kilmartin is rendered helpless while in a Shadowkind-induced coma.
